The existing roof surface can be an asphalt Built-Up Roof with aggregate surfacing, a smooth surfaced Modified or a Single-Ply roof system. Once the existing roof system is properly cleaned and prepared, insulation and or a recovery board is then mechanically attached with screws and plates through the existing roof into the roof deck. This provides a smooth and clean surface for installation. The new roof membrane with associated flashings and edge details are then installed according to the manufacturer’s specifications.
